Workflow Rule Model
The workflow feature in OneData allows you to control any changes made to data. You can control which objects are associated with workflow rules. Workflow rules define which users are allowed to approve changes to data to ensure the validity of data before it is propagated to the production environment.
A workflow rule defines at the object level which users have privileges to approve changes. When a workflow change is pending, approved users can approve the change, reject it, request more information about the change, delegate the workflow item, or reply to the initiator.
Every user in OneData has a workflow inbox that can be accessed on the Menu toolbar from Manage > My Workflow Inbox. The workflow inbox contains the pending workflow items. For more information about the workflow inbox, see webMethods OneData User’s Guide.
