Terminating a Job

The Job Center allows you to terminate a job that has started executing. During a job execution, the job checks for a terminate request after every 100 records of processing.

To terminate a job

1. On the Menu toolbar, click Administer > Job Center.

2. Enter the filter criteria as needed to narrow down the job search. For information about specifying the filter criteria, see Jobs Filter Options.

Note: If you do not provide any filter criteria, the Job Center applies default values to the filter.

3. Click Next to apply the filter.

4. Click the Terminate icon to stop the job.

The Status of the job changes to Pending Termination.
