Defining Attributes in a Cleansing Project
Use the following procedure to create attributes in a cleansing project.
* To define attributes in a cleansing project
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Data Quality > Consolidation > Project Mapping.
2. On the Command toolbar, click Add New Mapping.
3. In Project, select the cleansing project.
4. Define the attributes for the cleansing project, repeating the previous steps until each attribute is defined.
a. Define the required attributes.
The following is a list of sample attributes and attribute types for a Trillium cleansing project. Based on your project definition, similar attributes also exist for other data quality server cleansing projects.

b. Select the Is Required check box, if the attribute is required input in OneData.
Note: Example, a postal code field in an address. If any required inbound attributes are missing, OneData prompts you to provide them before sending data to the data quality server for cleansing.
c. Click Save Mapping after defining each attribute. Repeat the steps for creating a new mapping until you have defined all necessary attributes.
