Customer Consolidation

Summary of Configuration Steps
Consolidation offers the following features:
*Cleansing. Offers connectivity to data quality software such as, Trillium or the inbuilt OneData Matching for the matching functionality to detect duplicates. Data standardization can include applying uniform usage of uppercase or lowercase in a name, formatting the tax ID, and splitting a phone number into country code and phone number.
*Matching. Offers connectivity to data quality software, such as Trillium and webMethods Locate for matching functionality to detect duplicates. The unique record that is created, after the cleansing and matching process is referred to as Gold record. Matching determines whether the cleansed and validated record matches an existing Gold record or a new record must be created.
*Survivorship. Offers a feature in a consolidation environment where the source system updates only the most relevant attributes of the Gold record, based on a set of rules, including source-system priority.
