Exporting DDL of an Object
Data Definition Language (DDL) is a syntax to define data structures, including create, alter, and drop statements executed on the physical table objects. These statements change the underlying database. The Export DDL option in OneData exports the DDL details of an object. The DDL log tracks all structure changes at the object level.
Note: The DDL option Disable General DDL at the system properties level must not be checked to export DDL.
* To export DDL of an object
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and select the relevant object.
2. Click the Structure tab.
3. Click Export DDL.
On selecting this option, a SQL script file is generated and you can open or save this file to view the details.
