Using Multiple Columns as Descriptions for Related Objects
When there are objects that have a foreign key relationship, you can use multiple columns as a single column description.
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and select the relevant object.
2. Click the Structure tab.
3. Click Edit Constraints
4. Click Add new Foreign Key constraint.
5. In Related Table Name and Related Column Description select the relevant table and column.
Tip: In the Data Manager grid, the selected columns appear as links which allow you to navigate to the record of the referenced object. The records are visible in view or edit mode, depending on the user permissions.
6. Define how the column description displays in Display Options.
7. Click Save.
