Requesting Data Changes
OneData allows users without data editing privileges to request changes to records. Requests are sent to the object owner and remain pending until the owner approves them. Administrative users are able to view all outstanding change requests.
OneData provides two options for requesting data changes.. Or, you can access the change request menu from the Home screen when you know the object that you want to edit.
* To initiate a change request from the Home page
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Collaborate > Request Change.
Note: If you have already selected the object that contains the record you want to edit, skip to the next step.
2. Complete the change request fields and click Next.
3. From the record results screen, click Request or Set Change Request.
4. Complete the new values for the record and click Save.
