Cardinality
OneData provides the following object types:
Object Type
Definition
Definition Object
Logical entity that contains a definition, without any data. Like data objects, Definition Objects can have additional metadata attributes associated with it.
Data Object
Any type of object that is not a conceptual object.
Conceptual Object
A logical view of physical data objects, linked for ease of maintenance, workflow approvals and inquiry. One of the constituent objects is configured as the top-level (or root) object. Each constituent object has a relationship to either the top-level object or to another constituent object. You can manage each individual level of a conceptual object as its own entity.
Complex View
Logical grouping of attributes used for gathering information from authorized change requesters. This enables the process of obtaining all relevant information about new requests without the requester seeing the internal details on how the relationships are setup. The benefit of complex views is that they provide a data entry view for the requestor with all the lookups and constraints in place.
Logical Object
Logical object used for data model harmonization. That is, you can link a logical object to various data objects. The linking creates a report to show how the tables are correlated. You must have license for MDR to access this object.
