Managing Records in the Exception Queue
In the exception queue, you can view the records that failed during the import performed with an interchange mapping.
Failed records are only displayed in the exception queue if data is imported with an interchange mapping profile and Enabled partial commit is select in the processing options of the profile.
To manage records in the exception queue
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Data Acquisition Exception Queue.
The Queue Type defaults to Interchange.
2. Optionally, define the filtering criteria (all fields are optional):
Filter Criteria | Description |
Interchange Mapping | Select the Interchange Mapping Profile. |
Job Profile | Select the Job Profile. |
Created Date | Specify a date range to filter for queues generated during a specified time. |
Batch Identifier | Specify a range of batch IDs. |
Advanced Filter Clause | Select an attribute and provide additional filtering criteria. |
Tip: To save the filter for future use, click Save Filter. Define the Action Type and Filter Name and click Save Filter.
3. After entering filter criteria or to skip the filter, click Apply Filter.
OneData displays the failed records and the reason failure.
4. To manage the records in the queue, do any of the following:
To download the records to Excel, click
Download and then select
Report Type Excel.
To correct record errors, rectify the records that have exceptions and select
Import.
To delete records in the exception queue, select the records to delete and click
Delete. To delete all the retrieved records, select the check box in the header, and click
Delete All.
