Migrating Existing Import Jobs to ETL Framework
The ETL import framework can be used to do the following:
*Create an interchange mapping profile for an import job.
*Change the mode of an import job from Default to Nova.
*Associate an interchange mapping profile to an existing job step.
* To migrate existing import job to ETL framework
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Manage Import Job.
2. Click the Edit icon corresponding to the import job.
3. Change the Mode from Default to Nova.
Note: To revert to the previous import type, change the Mode to Default.
4. Click Save.
5. Click the Edit icon of the import job and select Manage Job Steps.
6. Click the Edit icon of the existing job step.
7. In Interchange Mapping, select the interchange mapping profile to use.
8. Click Save.
The import job now follows the ETL framework for processing.
9. To view the data, click the shortcut on the Command toolbar, Go To Data Manager.
