Extending Object Definition
You can extend the metadata information using the Metadata Template.
To extend metadata information
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > System Extensions > Metadata Template.
The screen displays the existing metadata templates. You can edit or delete these by clicking the corresponding icons.
2. To add a new template, click Add New Template.
3. Enter a Name and Description for the template.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Add Column to add a field to the template.
6. Enter the field details and click Save.
Note: In the Add Column screen, click Show Structure to view the columns that are already added to the template.
7. After adding the required fields in the template, click Save to create the template.
