OneData provides functionality to export data and content to external systems through distribution (export) jobs. Distribution jobs can deliver data using remote database updates, messaging queues, or FTP connections to transfer files. You can also use an ETL tool and OneData APIs and web services to export data. For more information about OneData APIs and web services, see Developing for webMethods OneData.
The landscape configuration determines the data sources available to export jobs. Dual-schema landscapes provide data from both the Release and Work areas. Single-schema landscape configuration limits source data to the Work area.
Export jobs are defined and managed on the Menu toolbar, through Data Interchange > Export Jobs. OneData has a number of export job types. For details, see Creating Export Jobs.
