Using the Consolidated Hierarchy View to Edit Leveled Objects
Use the following procedure to view and edit records for leveled (non-recursive) objects. This view enables you to view all the object records in a single, scrollable view and the records also visible as a tree hierarchy in the left panel. Using this view you can also add new records, edit existing records, save changes to individual records or do a global save for save all the changes to multiple object records in a single click.
* To view the consolidated hierarchy of an object
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects.
2. Click on the relevant object name.
The object records appear in a data grid.
3. Click Consolidated Hierarchy.
4. Click on the required record in the left panel or scroll through the records in the right panel, and do one of the following:
*Make the required changes to a record, and click Save above the record name.
*Make all the changes to multiple records, scroll to the top of the object and click Save.
All changes to the records are saved. Any errors are listed in the error panel. Make the suitable changes and save the records again.
*Click Add New Record. In the record details page, enter the required record details and click Save.
