Creating A Conceptual Object Using Add Hierarchy
Add hierarchy allows you to create a conceptual object and its constituent objects in one step. That is, you do not need the constituent data objects created beforehand.
* To create a conceptual object using add hierarchy
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects. Navigate to the folder in which you want to create the conceptual object.
2. Click Add Hierarchy and complete these fields.

Create Hierarchy
*Type of Hierarchy. Select Level.
*Maximum number of levels in the hierarchy. Enter the maximum number of levels allowed in the hierarchy.
*Enable versioning? Not applicable.
*Enable effective date range? Select the check box to limit the period during which the hierarchy is effective.
Conceptual Object
Hierarchy Name. Name of the object.
Conceptual Object Rule Assignment
Applicable only to recursive structures.
3. Click Next.
4. In the Specify level names screen, enter the Object Name and Physical Table Name for each level in the hierarchy.
5. Click Run.
