Managing Hierarchies
You can manage hierarchies in multiple ways using:
*Conceptual Objects. Leveled and Alternate hierarchies can be viewed either as an Advanced Parent Child or as Tree. Ragged Hierarchies can only be viewed as a Tree.
*Temporal Objects
*Archive Snapshot. This is a kind of versioning that can be used when the data is not very volatile.
*Versioned Hierarchy Management. It is applicable only for ragged hierarchies.
