Assigning Object Level Privileges to Defined Roles
The Roles tab in the object definition is used for allocating privileges on the object to defined Roles. Clicking a role name drills down to a column level security allocation.
Specific object-level privileges can also be assigned to roles through the Security module. For more information on roles, see Administering webMethods OneData.
To allocate roles to object level privileges through roles tab
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and select the relevant object.
2. Click the Roles tab.
3. To set the privilege at object level, select the check box against the role: action in the matrix.
4. To set the privilege at the column level, click the role name and select the check box as needed. Click Save.
5. Click Save.
