Starting and Stopping the Cache Server
The cache server runs as an independent process, as a separate JVM from OneData. You can start and stop the cache server using the OneData Cache Server Console. Stopping a OneData instance, that is, the web application, does not stop the cache server.
OneData creates a temporary file that contains the command to start the cache server. You can locate the file in < Software AG_directory >/temp/remotecache directory.
* To start or stop the cache server
1. Navigate to the location < Software AG_directory >/temp/remotecache.
2. Open the file.
3. Execute the commands in the file to start or stop the cache server.
