Viewing Inbound Message Exceptions
Exception queue functionality is available for all the DML operations done through inbound when the system property Inbound Messaging Mode is set to Nova.
If errors occur during inbound transactions, the Message Log console includes a unique identifier as part of the error message. This can be used to retrieve exception queue records after selecting the Exception Queue Type as JMS Inbound.
* To view inbound exception queue errors
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Administer > Logs > Message Log.
2. Select Show Failed messages only to display only the error messages.
3. Obtain the exception ID noted in the validation error message, Please use the identifier [number] to retrieve values from exception queue.
4. On the Menu toolbar, click Data Interchange > Data Acquisition Exception Queue.
5. In Queue Type, select JMS Inbound.
6. In the Identifier field, enter the identifier from the validation error message.
7. Click Apply Filter to view the record.
8. If the primary key values are sequences, input alternateKey in the envelope tag. This can be provided while generating envelope from RESTful Web Service link. For example:
<alternatekey>
BRAND TYPE=BRAND_TYP_NM;
PRODUCT=PROD_NM</alternatekey>
9. Using any JMS client, send the XML file to the JMS server.
