Using a Filtered Deep Link
When a user opens a deep link, OneData routes the user to the Log On page to enter sign in credentials. Once authenticated by the system, OneData directs the user to the object’s Data Manager screen in Nova mode. Objects accessed through a deep link always display in Nova mode, regardless of the object mode specified in the object definition.
Note: Based on the object configuration, data manager skips the initial filter tab. For more information about the object configuration, see Implementing webMethods OneData.
The Data Manager screen displays one of the following options:
*The Filter tab populated with the filter criteria specified in the deep link URL. Click Apply Filter to display the records that meet the filter criteria.
*The records that meet the filter criteria specified in the deep link. Click the Show Filter icon (located next to Display Values) to display the filter specified in the deep link URL.
Deep links do not support advanced filtering (other than null checks). Although advanced filtering may be enabled, you cannot use it when accessing an object through a deep link. When the data manager is accessed from a deep link, the utf8 character set is not supported.
When an conceptual object is defined to display in advanced parent-child view, and is accessed from a deep link, the following export (delivery) options are not available:
*Mail all
*Print All
*Export to excel
*Summary report
