Using RESTFUL Links
Representational State Transfer (REST) is an architectural style for interaction over the web built on top of the HTTP protocol. OneData REST web services provide an easy way to access data hosted in OneData over the Internet to other third party applications.
RESTful web services support all CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) actions for data and conceptual objects. Through a RESTful web service URL, a user can perform all operations on an object. For more information about RESTful web services, see Developing for webMethods OneData.
* To determine the RESTFul link for an object
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Manage > Manage Data or View > Browse.
2. Navigate to the object you want to view and select it.
3. Use the option that corresponds to the object’s display mode to find the object definition:
*In Default mode: click the Advanced Definition tab.
*In Nova mode: click View > Definition.
4. Expand the External Services properties and select the link from the RESTful Web Service Link.
