Use package replication to copy (publish) packages from one Integration Server to another. If you have a clustered environment, this feature is useful to quickly replicate new and updated packages across all servers in the cluster. It is also a convenient way to distribute a package from one server to another anywhere on the web.
Note: Using Software AG Designer, you can copy a package and its contents to another Integration Server by performing a copy or a drag-and-drop action. Copying packages using Designer provides a quick way to test a set of services and their supporting files, for example, in a remote environment. This method is useful in single development environments where change control is not crucial. In a production environment, however, using the package replication function is recommended.
Note: If you want to make a copy of package, for example to make a backup, without sending it to another server, see Archiving a Package.
