You can enable business-to-business communication between trading partners using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). These APIs are available through an associated webMethods API Gateway instance if the instance is configured in Trading Networks. All the APIs you can access appear in the Partner Profile and the associated Partner Group. The API access key and the authentication mechanism to access the APIs appear under APIs tab on Partner Profiles page.

You can to view, edit, or access a set of APIs depending on the access permissions that the administrator provides. If you are unable to perform a set of actions, contact your administrator.

The APIs tab displays an appropriate error message if you do not have an API Gateway instance configured in your environment but the administrator has provided you the permissions to view and edit APIs.
