Inserting Flow Steps

Flow steps call previously built services and direct the flow of data within a flow service. You can use the

button on flow service toolbar or the Palette view to insert flow steps into a flow service.

The Palette view is located at the right of the flow service editor. Click

to show the Palette view. Click

to hide the Palette view.

To insert a flow step

1. In the Package Navigator view, open the flow service in which you want to insert flow steps.

2. Do one of the following:

Click the

button next to

on the flow service editor toolbar and select the flow step that you want to insert.

In the Palette view, select the flow step that you want to insert and drag it to the flow service editor.
