The pool alias, also called a connection pool, defines the location and connection parameters for the database. Integration Server uses this information to interact with the database resource. The Integration Server Administrator lists the aliases of the connection pools in the Pool Alias Definitions area of the JDBC Pools screen. This area of the screen displays the pool aliases and their associated driver aliases. You can create pool aliases manually or by copying an existing pool aliases.
