Reuse the Old CCS Environment Definition
Unless otherwise noted, see Configuring BAM for detailed instructions on the steps below.
1. Start the new My webMethods Server and open My webMethods.
2. Go to the Applications > Administration > System-Wide > Environments > Define Environments page.
a. If you have migrated the database components from your old Optimize installation to your new Optimize installation, the Define Environments page will display your old CCS environments. To migrate these environments, select them and click Migrate Environment.
b. If you have configured your new Optimize installation to use a clean database, the Define Environments page will be empty. Click Import Environment and select the file to which you exported the CCS environments from your old installation. When prompted, confirm the migration.
Note:
The Configured and Ready to Deploy columns should show green check marks. If the Ready to Deploy column shows a red circle instead, open the environment and click the Validate tab.
Note:
The environments are migrated in their current state. If they are unconfigured in the old installation, they will remain unconfigured in the new installation.
3. If the database name or connection pool settings differ from those in the old installation, go to the Applications > Administration > System-Wide > Environments > Database Pool Configuration page and update as necessary. In the Database Connection area, click Test and make sure the message Test Passed displays at the bottom of the page. Click Save.
4. Click the Define Environments tab, click the environment to deploy, modify the configuration if necessary, and then click Finish.
5. Go to Deploy the New Optimize Environment, below.
