On the machine that hosts the new Universal Messaging, open a command window or shell, go to the new_Software AG_directory/UniversalMessaging/tools/migrate directory, and run the command below. For the migrateold_releasesbs.dat file, specify old_release without periods (for example,990 or 9100, or 1030).

The default imported settings migrate all instances, therefore only specify -instanceName if you want to override that default.

If an error occurs, the utility exits.
