If you installed your products in a new, empty directory, and there are updates for the products you installed, the installer displayed an update selection tree. However, if manual steps are required before a particular update can be installed, that update was unavailable. In addition, if you installed your products into a directory that already contained products, the installer did not offer the update selection tree.
