Installation and Uninstallation Modes
You can run the Software AG Installer and Software AG Uninstaller using different modes, as follows:
Graphical user interface (GUI). You can use GUI mode to install or uninstall using the installer, an image, or a script on all operating systems supported by
Software AG products. UNIX systems must have an X Windows environment.
Note:
The Software AG Installer does not support running in compatibility mode on Windows systems. For example, the installer does not support running in Windows XP compatibility mode on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Console mode. You can use console mode to install or uninstall locally or remotely using the installer, an image, or a script on all non-Windows operating systems supported by
Software AG products. You can also use console mode to install or uninstall using a script on Windows operating systems.
