Prepare the Old Installation
1. Go to the old_Software AG_directory/Zementis/adapa-app/migration directory. Back up Zementis Predictive Analytics models and resources by running the command below. The backup is written to the adapa-backup-yyyymmdd-hhmmss directory, where yyyymmdd-hhmmss is the time you ran the command based on the UTC time zone.
./migration.sh backup Zementis_host_URL admin_user admin_password
2. Shut down the old installation.
If the product is running... | Take this action... |
As a Windows service | Shut down from the Windows Services window. Services are listed as Software AG product release. |
As a Windows application | Shut down from the Windows start menu. Applications are listed as Software AG > Stop Servers > product . |
On a UNIX system | Use the shut down instructions in the product documentation for your old release. |
3. If the old and new installations are on different machines, copy the adapa-backup-yyyymmdd-hhmmss directory from the old installation to the machine that hosts the new installation.
