Prepare the Old Software AG Designer
1. Export Integration Server or Microservices Runtime definitions.
a. In the old Software AG Designer, go to Window > Preferences. On the Preferences dialog box, in the left navigation bar, go to Software AG > Integration Servers.
b. Click Export and complete the dialog box. Software AG Designer will save the file with the extension .properties.
2. Export CloudStreams server definitions and projects.
a. Go to Window > Preferences > Software AG > CloudStreams Servers. Click Export and complete the dialog box. Software AG Designer will save the file with the extension .properties.
b. Open the CloudStreams Development perspective and go to the CloudStreams Governance view. Right-click a governance project to export, click Export, and complete the wizard. The project folder will be exported.
c. Go to the CloudStreams Providers view, right-click the provider project to export, click Export, and complete the wizard. The projects will be exported as an archive (ZIP file).
3. Export preferences.
a. In the old Software AG Designer, open the File > Export wizard. In the Select panel, go to General > Preferences and click Next.
b. In the To preference file field, specify the name of the file to which you want to export your preferences. Software AG Designer will save the file with the extension .epf.
4. Shut down the old installation.
