Basic Startup Command
Log onto the machine that hosts Update Manager as the same user that installed the Software AG products you want to work with. Then start Update Manager using one of the methods below.
System | Basic Startup Command |
Windows | ![*](bullet.gif) Go to Start > Software AG > Tools > Update Manager. On the first panel that appears, indicate whether you want to proceed to the Update Manager GUI, create or add to an image, or install from an image. ![*](bullet.gif) Go to the Software AG_directory \UpdateManager\bin directory and run one of these commands: UpdateManagerGUI.bat [additional_parameters] UpdateManagerCMD.bat [proxy_parameters] [additional_parameters] |
UNIX | Go to the Software AG_directory /UpdateManager/bin directory and run one of these commands: ./UpdateManagerGUI.sh [additional_parameters] ./UpdateManagerCMD.sh [proxy_parameters] [additional_parameters] |
Note: | Update Manager upgrades itself automatically at startup whenever a more recent release is available. |
