Managing Language Extensions in Administered Items
OneData MDR provides support for language-specific variations for administered items and value meanings.
To create a new language extension
1. In the folder, 99. Base Objects, create the folder, Language Related Variations.
2. Add Administered Item (Language Variation) to the Administered Items conceptual object.
a. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and select the conceptual object, Administered Items.
b. Click the Structure tab.
c. Select the check box corresponding to object, Administered Item (Language Variation) and click Save.
d. To add language specific records to the Administered Items entity, do the following:
a. Click the Definition tab and then click Go to Data Manager.
b. Add records in the child entity Administered Item (Language Variation).
3. Next, add Value Meaning (Language Variation) to the conceptual object, Value Meaning Conceptual Object.
a. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects > 99. Base Objects and select Value Meaning Conceptual Object.
b. Click the Structure tab.
c. Select the check box corresponding to object, Value Meaning (Language Variation) and click Save.
d. To add language specific records to the Administered Items entity, do the following:
a. Click the Definition tab and then click Go to Data Manager.
b. Add records in the child entity Value Meaning (Language Variation).
