Top Level Object | The top level or root node of the conceptual object. | ||
View Conceptual Object As | The navigation pattern to display the records in the object, as a tree, parent child, or advanced parent child. Tree. Normally used for self-recursive or network recursive structures. Each constituent object in the conceptual object must have a description column. This displays column values in the tree as the user navigates through the hierarchy. Parent-child. Provides a single node for navigating the object hierarchy. This omits the navigation pane feature.
Advanced Parent-child: Provides a single point of interface for maintenance and drill-down on hierarchies. You can manipulate the data in child entities with the use of a navigation pane. | ||
Description Column Length | The description column length to set the appearance of the tree navigation pane. | ||
Default Child Filter | Select the object that displays by default as the child object.
