The browsing and maintenance pages display similar information. In browsing pages, you can only view record details, while in the maintenance pages you can create, update, and delete records. Users with the appropriate privileges, can create an administered item by clicking Insert. You must have at least read privileges to access a browsing screen for an administered item and update or delete privileges to access a Maintenance screen.

To browse the details of an administered item, first search for the administered item and then click the View icon for the corresponding record. OneData displays the Detail screen.

OneData determines whether to display either the View or Edit icon based on your security privileges. OneData also evaluates the security privileges for each administered item. If you do not have the row level privileges to edit an item, (for example, you may be allowed to modify data elements but not conceptual domains), OneData opens the Detail screen in read-only mode.
