Import Mapping
Import mappings can be predefined or user-defined. All import mappings are stored in the entity, IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM, in the work area. The records in IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM indicate the mapping type:
Records with Param_typ=”C” are predefined mappings and cannot be changed.
Records in the table with Param_typ=”O” are user-defined mappings and can be added, edited, or deleted for all types of Administered Item imports.
The new attributes are characteristics that you can add or extend or existing attributes not available for mapping.
