Import Mapping Parameter Attribute Description
The following table lists the mapping parameters of imports.
Parameter
Description
Internal ID
Internally generated sequence number.
Parameter Acronym
Applicable for import type 10, 11, and 12 only. Defaults to Parameter Name for other import types. Must be a valid JDBC property name for database metadata load. If added for file-based import, set it to $$$.
Parameter Name
Name of the attribute to be mapped that displays on the Mapping screen. Must be unique within the import type.
Table Name
Table in which to persist the imported value. Saved in uppercase.
Column Name
Column name in which to persist the imported values. Saved in uppercase.
Import Type
As described above.
Parameter Type
*O. User-defined properties
*C. Properties that should not be changed.
Related Table Name
Defined if the value must be translated from a description into an identifier or code.
Related Column Name
The column from which to retrieve the value to translate from a description into an identifier or code.
Related Column Decode Column
If the value is translated from a description to an identifier or code, this identifies the column in the related table to which the description must be matched.
Sort Order
Applicable for import type 10, 11, and 12 only and for remote data dictionary loads only. Sort order as prescribed in the JDBC standard.
