Add a Global Attribute for Agent-Based SSO Authentication with SharePoint
When authentication for MashZone NextGen Server connections to SharePoint use an agent-based SSO solution, such as SiteMinder, authentication information is supplied by the SSO solution in HTTP headers in the request sent to the MashZone NextGen Server. These headers must be included in MashZone NextGen Server requests to SharePoint. You define the HTTP headers that may be used for SSO authentication by any SharePoint connection in a MashZone NextGen global attribute.
1. Click
Admin Console in the
MashZone NextGen Hub main menu.
2. Expand the Attributes section and click Global Attributes.
3. Click Add new global attribute.
4. Enter sp-ssoheaders as the attribute name.
5. In the Attribute value field, enter the names of all HTTP headers or request parameters that may be used by the agent-based SSO solution to pass authentication information. Separate HTTP header or parameter names with commas, but no spaces. For example:
SM_USER,SM_ALT_USER
This list includes SSO HTTP headers or parameters for all connections to SharePoint.
6. Click Save.
