Publish Mashup Results as External SharePoint Lists
You can integrate information from many different external systems in your SharePoint 2010 sites using MashZone NextGen mashups as external content lists. If information of interest comes from a MashZone NextGen mashable, simply wrap the results in a compatible mashup in MashZone NextGen.

MashZone NextGen makes it simple to connect to many different types of information sources in your organization including databases, web services (using WSDLs or REST), web feeds (using RSS or Atom), CSV or XML. You can expose this data and integrate it in your SharePoint sites using MashZone NextGen mashups and SharePoint external content lists.
