Creating Database Driver Alias Definitions
Complete the following procedure to create a database driver alias definition that identifies a database driver. Integration Server uses this database driver to interact with the webMethods audit database.
Note:  
For a MySQL Community Edition database driver, you must ensure that the required database driver is configured to work with Integration Server before creating the driver alias definition. For more information, see Configuring the Database Driver for MySQL Community Edition 5.7.
To create database drivers
1. Open Integration Server Administrator if it is not already open.
2. In the Navigation panel, select Settings > JDBC Pools.
3. On the JDBC Pools screen, click Create a Driver Alias Definition and complete the fields as described below.

Specify...
Alias Name
Alias name to use for the driver. The name can be any length and contain any characters.
Alias Description
Brief description of the driver alias.
Driver Class Name
Name of the Java class for the JDBC driver.
4. Click Save Settings.
Integration Server Administrator displays the new driver alias definition in the Driver Alias Definitions area of the JDBC Pools screen.
