Configuring Workflow for Conceptual Objects in OneData MDR
To successfully execute the workflow transactions with conceptual objects in MDR Registry, make the following configuration changes. Properties for the column order and primary key columns must be defined consistently for workflow to execute correctly.
To configure workflow for conceptual objects
To include all the required objects in the conceptual transaction, set the top-level objects for each of the subject areas in MDR Registry as follows:
1. In Administered Item Management, create the conceptual object with Project Case File as top level object for administered item.
2. In Value Meaning & Permissible Values Management, create conceptual object with Value Meaning as top level object for Permissible Value and Value Meaning.
3. In Classification Scheme Item Management, create conceptual object with Classification Scheme as top level object for Classification Scheme. For the conceptual object, in Object Definition tab, select View Conceptual Object As tree.
Other objects could also be considered top-level objects. Ensure that the top-level object has downstream foreign key relationships with all data objects that need to be a part of the conceptual transactions.
