Adding Job Steps in File Generation Export Jobs
After you create a job step, you must add a job step to the job before it can be executed. You can create a new job step or use an existing job step.
To add a job step in a file generation by object job
1. Complete the procedure in Adding Job Steps.
2. Define the Job Step Definition properties:
Field
Description
File Name
Enter a file name. OneData overwrites the file every time the job runs. If you omit a file name, OneData generates the file name and creates a new file every time the job runs.
Email Recipient(s)
Enter the email addresses of users to receive the export job file.
FTP Destination
Select the export file FTP destination.
3. Define whether the file should be in XML or delimited output format:

XML File
Generates the file in XML format.
XSL Definition
Specify the XSL definition for applying the XSL transformation.
Delimited File
Generates the file in delimited format.
Delimiter
Specify the delimiter to separate records.
Text Qualifier
Specify the text qualifier to use.
Specify for
Specify whether to use the text qualifier for only columns with the delimiter or for all columns.
Include header in delimited file
Specify whether to include the header in the delimited file.
*Do not include: Omits the header.
*Include column only: Includes the header in the delimited file.
*Include table and column: Includes both the table and column in the header.
*Include custom header: Uses custom headings. Click Specify Custom Header to define the headings.
Encoding in delimited file
Specify the encoding format to use.
4. Click Save.
