Importing Administered Items using Predefined Import Mappings
This section provides a high-level summary of predefined mappings for importing records. The task following this section explains how to import the mapping. In the following table, the required columns are indicated with an asterisk (*).

Object Class
*Object Class name
Creates a new object class.
Context name or ID
Creates a context column.
Property
*Property name
Creates a property.
Context name or ID
Creates a context column.
Conceptual Domain
*Conceptual domain name
Creates a conceptual domain.
Context name or ID
Creates a context column, if mapped.
Other conceptual domain attributes
Value Domain
*Value domain name
Creates a context column if mapped or creates a new context if an existing one is not found.
*Conceptual domain name or ID
Creates a conceptual domain.
If ID is mapped instead of the name, the import procedure searches for the corresponding conceptual domain.
*Value Domain Type
Creates a value domain and the conceptual domain step was successful.

Other value domain attributes
Data Element Concept
*Data element concept name
*Conceptual domain name or ID
Creates a Conceptual Domain. If ID is mapped instead of the name, the import procedure looks up the corresponding Conceptual Domain.
Object Class name or ID
Same as Conceptual Domain.
Property name or ID
Same as Conceptual Domain.
Context name or ID
Context column if mapped creates a new context if context not found.
Other Data Element Concept attributes
Creates a Data Element Concept if Context, Conceptual Domain, Object Class and Property steps were successful and a Data Element Concept with the same name is not found.
Data Element
*Data element name
Creates a data element if data element concept name and value domain name are found.
*Data element concept name or ID
If data element concept name is not found, the import attempts to create a data element concept first, provided object class, property and conceptual domain are specified. else, the process will not import any information.
*Value domain name or ID
If value domain name is not found, import attempts to create a Value Domain first, if the conceptual domain is specified. Otherwise, the process does not import any information.

Context name or ID
Creates a new context column if mapped and a matching is not found.
Conceptual domain name
Other data element attributes
Concept
*Concept name
Creates concept.
Context name or ID
Creates a context column if mapped and a matching one is not found.
Derivation Rule
*Derivation rule name
Creates a new derivation rule.
Context name or ID
Creates a context column, if mapped, and context is not found.
Representation Class
*Representation class name
Creates a representation class if a representation class with the same name is not found.
Context name or ID
Context column if mapped will either create a new context if context not found.
