Configuring Authentication for External Service Layer
Before you can use the API functionality, you must configure the authentication for the external service layer within OneData.
To configure authentication for external service layer
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Administer > System > System Properties.
2. In the System Property tab, Authentication area, select Enable for Service layer security.
3. For authentication, specify the service layer password provided in Personalize > User Profile. This is a hashed password generated by OneData.
