Creating Connection Pool Aliases by Copying an Existing Pool Alias
If you want to create a pool connection with a configuration similar to an existing pool alias, you can copy the settings of an existing pool alias. You can then edit those settings as necessary.
To copy a connection pool alias
1. Open Integration Server Administrator if it is not already open.
2. In the Navigation panel, select Settings > JDBC Pools.
3. Click Copy a Pool Alias Definition.
4. Complete the fields as follows:
For this parameter...
Specify...
Copy From
The existing pool alias you want to copy. When you select an existing pool alias, Integration Server uses the values from the selected pool alias to populate the values of the pool alias you are creating, except for the Alias Name, which is specified in the Alias Name parameter.
Alias Name
Unique name to use for the pool alias. The name can include any characters that are valid for a file name in your operating system.
5. Click Copy Settings.
Integration Server Administrator displays the new pool alias in the Pool Alias Definitions area of the JDBC Pools screen.
