Deleting Gateways
To delete a gateway, you must have the following roles:
CentraSite Administrator: to delete
API Portal,
Mediator, and
Insight gateways within any organization.
Organization Administrator: to delete
API Portal,
Mediator, and
Insight gateways within a specific organization.
API Portal Administrator: to delete
API Portal gateways.
Mediator Administrator: to delete
Mediator gateways.
In addition to the above, you can also delete the API Portal, Mediator, or Insight gateway, if you have the instance level Full, Modify or at least View permission on the gateway.
Deleting a gateway permanently removes the instance of the gateway asset from the CentraSite registry. When you delete a gateway, CentraSite does not delete a gateway if it has at least one API asset published to it.
To delete gateways
1. In CentraSite Business UI activity bar, click Manage Governance Rules.
2. To filter the list to see a list of the available API Portal, Mediator, or Insight gateways, do the following:
a. Go to the advanced search panel.
b. In the Narrow Your Results section, do the following:
a. Locate Applicable Scopes.
b. Choose API Portal, Mediator, or Insight from the drop-down list.
c. Click the plus button next to the drop-down box or press Enter to add the scope API Portal, Mediator, or Insight to the search recipe.
CentraSite displays the list of API Portal, Mediator, or Insight gateways that are available to you.
3. Select the check box for a single gateway, or select the check boxes for multiple gateways you want to delete.
4. On the actions bar of the Search Results page, click Delete.
You can also delete a single gateway from the actions bar of that particular Gateway Details page.
5. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
The selected gateways are permanently removed from the CentraSite Registry Repository.
