Bulk Redeploying Virtual Services to Mediator
Pre-requisites:
To redeploy multiple virtual services to a Mediator gateway through the Command Line Interface, you must have the CentraSite Administrator role.
CentraSite provides a command tool named bulk redeploy for this purpose.
You can also use the command tool named bulk clean redeploy to undeploy and redeploy all virtual services that are deployed to a specified gateway.
To redeploy multiple virtual services
*Run the command bulk redeploy.
The syntax is of the format:
*C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd bulk redeploy [-url <CENTRASITE-URL>] -user <USER-ID> -password <PASSWORD> -gateway <GATEWAY>
*C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd bulk clean redeploy [-url <CENTRASITE-URL>] -user <USER-ID> -password <PASSWORD> -gateway <GATEWAY>
The input parameters are:
Parameter
Description
CENTRASITE-URL
(Optional). The URL of the CentraSite registry. For example, http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite.
USER-ID
The user ID of a registered CentraSite user who has the CentraSite Administrator role. For example, Administrator.
PASSWORD
The password for the CentraSite user identified by the parameter USER-ID.
GATEWAY
The gateway to which the virtual services are to be deployed.
Examples (all in one line):
*C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd bulk redeploy -url http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite -user Administrator -password manage -gateway Gateway1
*C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd bulk clean redeploy -url http://localhost:53307/CentraSite/CentraSite -user Administrator -password manage -gateway Gateway1
