Construct a base64Binary
value from an item
value.
xs:base64Binary(item $value) => base64Binary
This is a constructor function that takes an item value as argument and
returns a value of type xs:base64Binary
. If the argument is a
literal, then the literal must be a valid lexical form of its type.
As specified in the respective section of the W3C recommendation
XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes, a value of type
xs:base64Binary
represents Base64-encoded binary data. If the
string argument contains characters outside the Base 64 alphabet, a type
exception is raised. See section 6.8 of
RFC
2045 for information about the allowed characters.
