Check and Repair a Database

You need to check the consistency of a database only if you receive messages informing you that a database index has been disabled. The check procedure rebuilds the disabled index and deletes the old disabled copy. The database to be checked must be active (running).

Note:
You can check the consistency of a database at any time - the check procedure does not make any changes to a valid and consistent database.
