The Tamino distribution includes several Software AG internal products for which there are separate documentation sets. These internal products provide basic functionality that may be common to several Software AG products. After Tamino has been installed, you can access the documentation sets for these internal products as described below.
On Windows, the documentation can be accessed as follows:
To access the documentation for System Management Hub
Start the Tamino Manager.
In the tree view, expand the node for your host machine.
Select the node
under your host machine node.From the context menu, choose
.On UNIX, the starting page of the documentation is located at the following disk location:
$SAG/common/arg/help/doc/overview.htm
Universal Transaction Platform (UTX) is an optional Tamino component. During the Tamino installation, the setup files for UTX are copied to disk, but you have to run the setup procedure manually if you wish to install this component.
On Windows, the setup file setup.exe is located by default in the folder C:\SoftwareAG\webmethods8\install\media\UTX. On UNIX, the setup environment is in the corresponding area under $SAG.
After you have installed UTX, the starting page of the documentation is help\overview.htm
On UNIX, the starting page of the documentation is located at the following disk location:
$SAG/utx/<VersionNumber>/help/overview.htm
where <VersionNumber> is the current UTX version number.
Note, however, that a different path may have been specified during the installation procedure.
