Managing Rule Instances from the Add/Edit/Copy Rule Page
From the Add/Edit/Copy Rule page, you can display the Rule Instance page by clicking View Instances in the Rule Instances tab. From the Rule Instances page, you can enable or disable individual rule instances, which directs Optimize to start or stop reporting rule violations against that instance.
To enable or disable individual rule instances
1. In the Rule Instances tab on the Add/Edit/Copy Rule page, click View Instances.
2. On the Rule Instances page, select a rule instance and do one of the following:
Enable a disabled rule instance by clicking
Disabled. The icon changes to
Enabled.Disable an enabled rule instance by clicking
Enabled. The icon changes to
Disabled.
If you disable a rule instance that has a current violation against it,
Optimize clears this rule instance's violation state.
Enable all rule instances by clicking
